Burrard was inspired by the Marine Building at the corner of Burrard and West Hastings Streets in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. It is a prominent example of Canadian architecture in the Art Deco style, in a city whose contemporary style is defined by comfort and versatility.
Burrard is a comfortable yet intricately cabled cardigan, featuring long sleeves, shawl collar, and a combination of vertical cable motifs on front and back. It is worked flat in pieces and then sewn together, with set-in sleeves and a shawl collar.
