One note on the needle size & gauge. I went with the suggestion on the ball band and used a 6. A 5 would also work fine - if I had to make another, I might go that direction anyways for a denser fabric…. the smaller stitch size wouldn’t be a problem, the hat could easily have a little more tension and still fit a head just fine!
