Leaving the edges of cables exposed along the brim of this hat gives it a lovely, wavy edge. Never worked cables before? Don’t worry! There are only 21 cables in the entire hat, making this a great introductory project for beginners.

  • Louisa Harding Grace Silk & Wool (50% merino wool, 50% silk; 101 meters per 50 gram skein); color: Kiss; 2 skeins
  • US 6/4 mm 16 inch circular needle
  • US 6/4 mm double point needles – set of 5
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors
  • Blunt needle
  • 1/2 inch/1 cm button

Gauge
22 sts and 30 rounds = 4 inches in stockinette
