This is intended to be a plus size hat, for people whose heads are about 24 inches (or 61 cm) or more in circumference with about 4 inches of negative ease. The folded brim adds a lot of stability.

Size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting 7 stitches.

A 100% wool yarn is recommended; Paton’s Classic wool would be good (as well as cost effective) but so would Wool Gatto by Lana Gatto. Wool Gatto is much more lofty than Paton’s Classic.
