This is a fairly easy pattern. It starts with the cable strip, which is knit flat. Because it varies in width I have written out most of the rows for that part. Just follow along. A small seam joins it. Stitches are then picked up for both the brim and the crown and knit in the round.

The green hat uses Plymouth Yarns Galway.
