This set mixes traditional Norwegian colorwork with cable details. You will need to be comfortable working in the round, doing stranded colorwork, knitting cables and doing basic intarsia. Steeking is optional.

Recommended for intermediate knitters seeking a challenge on a small scale.

The drop shoulder sweater begins with a cabled ribbing and has a traditional Norwegian color work body. The sleeves incorporate a cable that is worked in intarsia and continues as a saddle shoulder and then across the wide boat neck. The cap features cables between the contrasting petals and the mittens, which have the same dog motif as the sweater, follow traditional Norwegian construction.

You will need circular and double pointed needles of varying lengths. The entire set requires five skeins of the main color, Three of the secondary color and two of an accent color.
