Cali is my version of a classic cable and lace shawl. It starts with an alternating cable lace pattern that looks like butterflies and morphs into a traditional cable with growing lace. This creates a natural scalloped edge. Rolled stockinette stitch is used to mimic icord at the cast on and along the inner curve. Reverse rolled stockinette is used to finish off the final border. Pattern is both charted and fully written to allow for individual preferences. Markers are used to separate the cables and growing lace section and eliminate the need to count stitches on each row.
