Callie is a fun twist on a classic cardigan- it buttons in the back! It’s more than just a cardigan put on backwards though; short rows define the neck and shoulder shaping, giving you a better fit. It is sized from 28” to 48”.

I love playing with color, and pairing bright speckles or variegated colors with a beautifully saturated semi-solid. Play around with pairing colorways, add a third color for the sleeves, or knit it all in one lovely color. There are no limits to creativity!

Callie is knit flat in three pieces, each worked from the bottom up, then sewn together. Short rows are used to create a lowered hem in the back, and for shoulder shaping. The sleeves are picked up and knit in the round, with directions given for customizing your armhole opening.

Yarn: Fingering weight in 2 colors: 650 (720, 775, 830, 950, 1100, 1260) yards/ 595 (660, 710, 760, 870, 1010, 1155) meters MC (front and sleeves); 300 (340, 365, 390, 450, 520, 600) yards/ 275 (315, 335, 360, 415, 480, 550) meters CC (back).

I used Hedgehog Fibres Sock in Shiver (MC) and Ink (CC).
