The Canaletto cowl is wide and luxurious, and emphasizes geometric lines and simple textures. Bands of seed stitch and eyelets are intersected by stocking stitch, and each texture catches the light differently. The stacked eyelets create a gentle bias, adding to the cowl’s flexibility for looping around your neck. Pattern includes two sizes; the larger size can be looped twice; the smaller size makes a neck hugging warmer. Suitable for the adventurous beginner.

Note: If you want something between the small and large cowl, adjust your cast on in multiples of 22. Check out Koanizee’s cowl; it has a cast-on of 132 in sport weight. And check out callalilyliesl’s hat!
