My favorite part of this design is how the twist continues across the heal.

I suppose it was inevitable that my new found love of indie dyed yarn has pushed my designer mojo into a new arena: SOCK PATTERNS! This is my first foray into the yummy-comfy world of sock designing.

Knits up a thick and roomy sock.

Knits up quickly.

Perfect for clogs on chilly days.

Compliments variegated AND self striping yarns….and of course semi-solid and solids as well:)

Although it fits my sizable cankles, it will work for those of you with average legs too:)

What’s a cankle?
When your calf is so large that it seems to blend into your foot with no tapering at the ankle…………………..its oh so sexy and feminine.
Why? After 8 years of field hockey and catching for my softball teams ALONG with my Scottish HIGHLANDER DNA, I have developed an impressive case of cankles.
NOTE: My cankles are NOT fat and if you call them fat and I hear you, I’ll use my power cankles to kick you:)
