The Caribble and Moss Patchwork Blanket is a reversible, textured and light weight baby blanket.

The pattern consists of mini cable ribbed (caribble) and moss stitch sections, with a garter stitch border.
While the blanket has a patchwork appearance, it is knit seamlessly in one piece, including the garter stitch border on all edges. The blanket is totally reversible, and attractive on both sides.

Instructions are clearly written, for a generously sized baby blanket, 24” wide x 35” long, after blocking.

Required skills include casting on, knitting, purling, right twist mini cables and binding off.
Some experience with textured stitches (knits and purls) will be helpful.

Materials required include approximately 600 yds worsted weight yarn, and size 8 circular needles, 24” - 32” length.

Recommended Gauge is 4.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Although the blanket is knit with textured stitches, gauge information is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in substituting yarns, and/or determining appropriate sized needles.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Sample was knit using 3 skeins of Berroco Vintage, color 4105/Oats.
