“Carry A Tune” is covered in a stylized brocade created from musical symbols, with mirrored Celtic harps gracing the front flap. The fabric is reversible, so either side may be chosen as the public side of the bag with the inside in the opposite colors.

Double-knitting with worsted weight yarn creates an extra-thick fabric, making the bag an ideal protective carrying case spacious enough for books, papers, music, or even a notebook computer. The swatch even doubles as an interior pocket!

The bag is begun in the round and continued flat, then the pieces are attached by single-crochet in a contrasting color. Yarn shown is Cascade 220 in Color 8010 (cream) - 4 skeins; Color 8555 (black) - 4 skeins; Color 8908 (light blue) - 1 skein. If yarn is substituted, but be sure to choose a sturdy worsted-weight yarn. You will need approx. 880 yd / 805 m each of two main colors and 100 yd / 92 m of an accent color.
