This makes a toasty, cozy blanket, perfect for a car. Hold a neutral color strand along with a color strand, so it’s really Worsted weight thick.

You’ll need about 1 1/2 to 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn (360-400 yards each) in a neutral color and bits from another 7 colors, from about 50 to 250 yards each.

The color patterns follow the Fibonacci series. And the chevron stitch creates a different zigzag pattern on each end.

The pattern is both written out and includes a chart.
