Pattern description from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts: “This luxurious tea cozy is a great choice for the person on your gift list who already seems to have everything (as long as he or she drinks tea, that is). I chose a stitch pattern that resembles the fabric used to make thermal underwear both because it implies warmth and because, matched with cashmere yarn, it is such an interesting pairing of luxury and utility. Of course, this cozy can be knit in any worsted-weight wool”

Finished Measurements: 9” (23 cm) high, and 23” (58.5 cm) around at the lower edge

Needles: One set straight needles size US 8 (5 mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, removable stitch markers or safety pins, one size US 10 (6 mm) straight needle or needle two sizes larger than main needles for casting on (optional).
