Cat’s Paw Headband is a convenient and pretty headwear perfect for fall and spring, when your head wants to breathe and your ears want some warmth. Made of stunning cables, a sew-on rib edge and decorated by two buttons, this headband is sure to please you or its lucky recipient.

Gauge can vary: use any yarn weight and stop knitting when it’s long enough!

Perfect stash buster: you’ll need about 100 yards of DK weight yarn to get a good size headband so look out for leftovers from your latest sweater! For a perfect match, use spare buttons from your latest cardigan.

Difficulty: Intermediate or adventurous beginner - must know (or learn!) how to read a chart, make buttonholes (link to tutorial included), and make a provisional cast-on.

You’ll also need: Scrap yarn, two buttons, one extra US 6 needle.
