Cavendish is a sweet little kitten, knitted in soft and cuddly alpaca yarn.

This pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work for the stripe on the cat’s head. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the cat is knitted in DK weight yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Rowan Alpaca Classic DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; up to 50g in each shade.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes, bobbins for intarsia, toy whiskers, and pink DK yarn to embroider the nose.

SIZES
One size only - 20cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
