Cedar Creek is a garter stitch triangle shawl with a vertical inlay of leafy lace. The shawl is knit flat, worked from the bottom up and is shaped through the use of eyelets along each side of the inverted triangle. It uses 714 yards of fingering weight yarn and would be beautiful with solid, variegated or kettle dyed yarn as well as in a variety of different fibers and blends suitable for any of the 4 seasons! The leafy lace panel is both charted and written in this pattern and the majority of the shawl is garter stitch, making Cedar Creek a beautifully simple shawl project.
