Worked in Garter Stitch with a big needle and a super bulky yarn, this cowl will knit up in a hurry! The simple stitch allows the details, a drop stitch pattern and a picot bind-off, to shine.

Century Cowl is worked from the top down. It starts off being worked back and forth and then is connected into the round right above the start of the drop stitch pattern. After the pattern rounds are worked the body continues in the round. The cowl is finished with a picot bind-off. A small button at the back of the neck closes the neck opening by buttoning right through the edge stitch.

Dimensions: 18 inch neck circumference, 9 inches deep and 48 inches circumference around the hem.

The collar could be made larger by blocking or working in a needle one size up. If worked with a larger needle, extra yardage would be needed. Sample is shown unblocked.
