A fun cabled cowl that comes in three sizes - small, medium, and large. This pattern is good for adventurous beginners and experienced knitters as well.

Gauge:
20 stitches and 26 rows per 4 inches knit in pattern in the round (although gauge is not terribly important for this pattern)

Finished dimensions: Roughly 9 inches high and 24 (36, 48) inches around.

Materials:

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (100 (150, 200) grams) (other weights could be substituted - adjust the needle size and number of cast on stitches accordingly)

Needles and Notions:

  • 4mm (US size 6) circular needle or size necessary to achieve gauge (a larger size needle can be used to get a looser fabric, but note that this will require additional yarn)
  • Tapestry (darning) needle
  • Cable needle (if desired)
  • Stitch markers (if desired)
