This purse is knit in one piece from the bottom up, holding two strands of yarn together; then the I-Cord handles are inserted into the “button holes”.

There are directions for two sizes; the large Char Purse dimensions are: 12” x 7” and 9.5” tall when closed. The handle has a 9.5” drop. The small version of the Char Purse dimensions are: 9.5” x 6.5” and 7.5 tall when closed; the handle drop can be between 9.5” to 12”. The handles could easily be made to your desired length.

The large version is a really great sized purse that can hold not only the necessities but a small knitting project as well.

This would be a project suitable for either a beginning knitter or a more advanced knitter.
