Sales from this pattern will go to Hurricane Harvey relief in South East Texas. All funds raised will go directly to rebuilding efforts focusing on small towns within Hardin and Jefferson counties. My tiny home town was severely impacted by flooding, so I am trying to help in my own way.

This pattern is written to create a 14” x 14” lovey using worsted weight yarn.

Suggested Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Red White and Blue. This acrylic will not bleed and can be machine washed and dried. It is much softer after laundering. If you prefer to use sport weight throughout, there is an optional chain count and hook size given to accommodate the weight difference.

The Lone Star is made with sport weight acrylic yarn.

Pattern is suitable for beginners who are familiar with single crochet, double crochet and decreases.
