The original sales from this pattern were donated to Hurricane Harvey relief in South East Texas. My tiny home town was severely impacted by flooding, so I tried o help in my own way.

This pattern is written to create a 14” x 14” lovey using worsted weight yarn.

Suggested Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Red White and Blue. This acrylic will not bleed and can be machine washed and dried. It is much softer after laundering. If you prefer to use sport weight throughout, there is an optional chain count and hook size given to accommodate the weight difference.

The Lone Star is made with sport weight acrylic yarn.

Pattern is suitable for beginners who are familiar with single crochet, double crochet and decreases.

Please refer to me as the designer when you create your lovies. You may sell them, but please consider making a donation to your favorite charity with the proceeds. Thank you!
