Tunisian post stitches create a checkerboard pattern on this pillow. The sample is worked in two different color pairs--brown and ivory on one side, black and khaki on the other. One color from each side is used in the border to make an attractive transition from front to back. Technique photos and written instructions are included in the pattern.

You will need a Tunisian K hook. You can use this hook for finishing also, or, if you prefer, use a regular K hook. You will also need a pillow form 18 inches square. A tapestry needle is recommended for weaving in ends.
