This vest gets its dramatic colors the easy way—self-striping yarn. Make it in bright shades for a boho or retro look, heightened by a generous drapey front. If you haven’t tried a big project before, this seamless and sleeveless garment is the perfect choice because it’s a rectangle with slits for the armholes. Leap into lace with the simple chevron stitch, which creates a sawtooth edge along the front openings.
