This is the first in a series of twelve patterns for a Christmas House box with a decorated Christmas tree inside. The pattern for the structure of the house is available separately.

This pattern is for the 24 small pockets that line the walls of the house. Shaped like baubles, they are big enough to hold a small chocolate or other treat so that the house can be used as an Advent Calendar.

The pockets are simple to knit but making so many takes a bit of time so it’s best to get started on them now.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
