This is the fourth in a series of twelve patterns for a Christmas House box with a decorated Christmas tree inside. The pattern for the structure of the house is available separately.

This pattern is the most time consuming of the twelve as it’s for the all-important Christmas tree. It’s knitted in sections and then sewn together and held upright with the help of an old knitting needle before being decorated.

You could knit just the tree (and the platform it stands on), without the rest of the house. It would make a nice decoration on its own.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my fundraising page www.justgiving.com/frankiesknittedstuff

Happy Knitting!
