This is a cute, round robin that is fun and quick to knit from a small amount of yarn. Perfect for sitting in your Christmas Tree or adding to a Christmas stocking.

The robin uses DK weight yarn and is knitted flat on two 3.50mm needles. Two 3.00mm needles are used just for the tiny beak and you will need two 3.25mm double pointed needles for making the I-cord for the legs. Instructions for making an I-cord are included. There is a colour chart to knit the red breast (written instructions for the colour changes are also included) and photographs to help with finishing touches.

You will need:
DK yarn in brown, red, orange, white and a length of black for eyes,
a sewing needle,
a small amount of toy stuffing.

Your pattern will be available to download once payment is confirmed. You will also be sent a link via email. Please note I don’t accept returns, cancellations or exchanges.

TIP FOR POMPOM ON HAT

An alternative to making a pompom is to knit a small circle and gather it up with a running stitch, put a little stuffing inside before pulling the gathering yarn tight. Use the same gathering yarn to sew the pompom to the hat before sewing to the robin.
