Introducing Pearl and Blossom, a couple of Spring chickens!
A small, quick to knit chicken that looks lovely in natural chicken colours or in Spring pastels.

You will need small quantities of yarn, toy stuffing, sewing needle and knitting needles. The body is knitted flat and seamed. Dpn’s are needed for knitting an I-cord.

My chickens are knit in DK weight yarn and small needles for a firm fabric to stuff, but if you vary the yarn and needles you will end up with a different size chicken! Uses small quantities of yarn so a good way of using up stash and a great gift for Easter.

The pattern uses increases (M1), decreases and an I-cord for the legs. Instructions are given for these.
