This is a pattern to make a lovely warm, textured hat, scarf and fingerless gloves. It uses a super chunky yarn so grows quite quickly and offers two options, either a knitted version with rib edge or a knitted version with a pretty crochet edge.

I have suggested Rowan Big Wool as this is the yarn I used to develop the pattern. I knit this set up to order from my Folksy and Etsy shop and it is proving to be very popular.

It is a great pattern for anyone who has learned to knit and wants a project that will use their skills for shaping. I have included 3 size options for the hat and one size for the scarf and mitts.

Needless to say with the scarf you can knit it whatever length you choose, but the length I have suggested is for a comfortable but neat fitting neck warmer.

The finished hat is a snug and warm fitting beanie style that you can choose to have a pompom or not.

The gauge I have included is the actual gauge of the finished items I produce using 10mm needle.
