These squares are very simple to knit and perfect for knitters who haven’t used more than one shade before.

Or great for relaxing mindless knitting that creates a colourful cushion that creates another relaxing environment!
I’m sitting on my Chusi cushion as I write this!!

The original yarn to make this striped cushion is made from Alpaca and Peruvian Highland Wool, so I decided to use a Quechua name for the cushion as Quechua is the native language of rural Peru.
I chose Chusi because it means striped woollen blanket.

I’ve also used Shetland Heather Aran to create another cushion with yarn history, this time Shetland wool history.
