The cables winding up through this cowl look like curled sticks of cinnamon bark, especially in this beautiful colour of Malabrigo Rios. This one-skein cowl is perfect for any of those beautiful hand-dyed skeins of yarn, or any skein of yarn for that matter. Choose a worsted weight yarn in your favourite colour and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of working this beautifully textured combination of twisted ribbing and cable stitches for a thick and warm cowl.

This pattern is written for one skein of Malabrigo Rios and is shown here in Camel and also in Coco.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 9 inches (23 cm) tall and 11.5 inches (29 cm) wide laid flat after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 23 inches (59 cm).

Skills required: Working in the round, working crossed stitches. Stitches used: k tbl, p, p2tog, 3/4RC, 3/4LC.

Pattern includes both written and charted instructions, list of abbreviations, stitch guide with explanations, and notes.
