This pattern has a very simple stranded pattern. The size can be easily changed by adjusting the number of cast on stitches and rows knitted for the base. The size in the pattern will easily fit 4 small balls of yarn. I used 1 skein of Patons Classic Wool in Orchid and a small amount of Patons Classic Wool in Jade Heather. I used a size 10.5, 16 inch circular needle.
