This simple cable cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. The cable pattern is a simple 4 row repeat. This simple cable design is ideal for a knitter who is fairly new to cables.

This pattern requires knowledge of knitting in the round on a circular needle, Kfb increase, K2tog decrease and knitting cables. All abreviations are explained in the pattern.

Finished size is 23 inch circumference and 7inches wide after blocking. The cowl is worn folded down, wrong sides together, so the cable pattern shows on both sides. The cowl is 3.5 inches wide after folding. I used 2 full skeins and about 1/2 of the third skein for this project.
