Knitting in the round is a soothing exercise, and knitting stripes in the round is a great motivator to knit that little bit further. However I am yet to meet a knitter that loves the wee steps, or ‘jogs’ you get when working with multiple colours in the round…so why not try your hand at helical stripes….. aka no jogs!

Circumferential is written for multiple sizes (12 of them, from small newborn up to adult), in 5ply/sport weight yarn.

Construction
Circumferential is a beanie worked from the brim to crown, in the round.
The brim is double layered, with an optional picot edge. It is closed at the end of the knit.
The body is worked at loose gauge using 2 colours of yarn in helical stripes.

Skills Required
knitting small circumferences in the round
whip stitching (the brim)
working helical stripes (basic instructions included)
If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.
