Signature style meets classic cables — Claire by Sloane Rosenthal perfectly melds an updated modified drop shoulder silhouette with juicy, rhythmic cables for the ideal everyday sweater. Made with her busy life in mind, this sweater often dubs as a sweatshirt replacement, refining a casual everyday look without sacrificing comfort.

Sloane’s thoughtful modified drop-shoulder silhouette has become an H+W signature, with simple, straightforward instructions for easy finishing. Made from the bottom up, the front and back of the sweater are worked flat, blocked, and joined by a three-needle bind off at the shoulders. The sleeves are then picked up and knit from the armholes, leaving just the underarm and sides for seaming in finishing. The cozy mock turtleneck is picked up and worked in the round, folded over and seamed down. Instructions for alternate necklines are included in the pattern.
