With the release of Starz’s adaptation of Diana Gabaldon’s book, Outlander/Cross stitch, there has been a huge interest in the knit wear seen in videos, stills, and promotional shots. Im trying my hand at a written version of what I see on Claire.

This pattern is designed after the cowl shes wearing in one of the promo shots.

It is a One Size pattern, however, it is very easily modified larger or smaller.

Unlike the knit version, the crochet version is worked with a single strand of yarn but the pattern gives it a nice loftiness.
