Clairière is the third pattern in my collection Welcome to Sweden, knitwear inspired by swedish culture and nature. Clairière is a triangular shawl worked from the top down. The size of the body can be made after you desire, smaller or larger then suggested in the pattern since you can repeat the chart as many times as you like. When you have finished the body you swap color and work the edging chart one time, bind off and the shawl is done.

I have used 100 gram for the body and about 60 gram for the edge. But since you can make the body as big or small as you like you can alter the yardage needed.

Gauge is not crucial but will affect size and yardage. Body can be made as big or small as you like it.

I found the inspiration for this shawl in the Swedish forest. Clairière means glade in English and in this shawl I wanted to illustrate the sun glittering through the holes in the leaf covered ceiling.

Pattern is avaliable in both English and Swedish
