March 2014: I’ve just uploaded a revised version of the pattern. I hope this way all the questions will find an answer.
thank you for your patience and thank you for choosing to knit this versatile shawl!!! I love it and I’m still wearing the first one I have ever knitted.

A hybrid between clapotis and baktus scarf, this shawl lets you use the exact amount of yarn you have. It’s perfect to stash-down all of those single skeins of socks yarn sitting somewhere in your house! As many Baktus knitters have proved so far, it works with any kind of yarn.

Thanks to chronicknitting for the suggestion:
It occurred to me that I maybe didn’t need to do the ribbing on the back as well as the front and I checked with the designer, who thought it would be OK as long as the yarn isn’t too sticky, and of course this one isn’t at all. I’ve just passed the centre point so I’m dropping stitches now and it’s great fun.
