Beginning with just 1 stitch, you’ll be increasing until scarf is desired width.
Scarf is then worked straight in pattern, while using simple increases and decreases to maintain biased pattern.
To end, you’ll be decreasing until you are back down to 1 stitch. ?Pattern is reversible, and both sides are attractive.

Pattern includes written instructions for 2 sizes.
Small size uses just one skein of Madeline Tosh DK yarn, and is 5” wide x 52” long, after blocking.
Large size uses 3 skeins of Shibui Baby Alpaca yarn, and is 14” wide x 76” long, after blocking.
Scarves (both sizes) are knit flat, using size 8 needles.

Required skills are casting on, knitting, increasing (knitting into the front and back of a stitch, and yarn over), and decreasing (knitting 2 stitches together, and slip slip knit).

Pattern is simple and repetitive, making for a relaxed and enjoyable project with impressive results.

Enjoy knitting and wearing this beautiful scarf, and please post photos of your finished project for everyone to enjoy!
