Any fingering weight yarn will work well for this pullover. The important part is guage. Make sure you work a good gauge swatch.

Using a boat neck and drop shoulders means there are no decreases to worry about, only increases for the sleeves.

To show the versatility of this pattern, I knit a second one in Done Roving’s fingering merino yarn. The wool option makes for a slightly different fit from cotton, but it is just as yummy.
