This lightweight wrap features a delicate lace pattern that seems to swirl as it “climbs”, much like a vine would. The vines are surrounded by an additional lace stitch, which shows off the focal stitch nicely. The focal lace stitch makes a naturally scalloped edging to the wrap. It is a very elegant wrap without being difficult to knit. Further since it is made using a heavy fingering weight yarn and size #5 needles, it is not a “life-long” project. The final size is 20 inches by 72 inches. There are also instructions for an optional edging contained within the pattern, should you want it edged.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Shepherd Sport, in colorway, Putty.

It was expertly pattern tested by: Cherie Warner, who can be contacted at: bwarnergroup@wowway.com, and is known on Ravelry as “bwarnergroup.”
