An adorable cloud knit in four shades from fair-weather to stormy. Rain is optional. A quick-knit gift or stashbuster project. The clouds are a good size for making into decorations such as mobiles or garlands for a child’s bedroom.

Each cloud is knit flat in two pieces then sewn together and stuffed. The finished clouds are approximately 9 cm (3½ inches) wide.

You will need:

• Rico Ricorumi Cotton DK in White (001), Silver Grey (058), Mouse Grey (059) and Black (060), about 7g per cloud. You will also need a little Denim (034) if you want to make rain.
• 3mm (US 2.5) knitting needles.
• A tapestry needle.
• Toy stuffing.

Techniques you should know:

• Casting on and binding off.
• Knitting and purling.
• Increasing (kfb) and decreasing.
