  • Use any weight yarn and any size hook.
  • Use any stitch you like.
  • Easily customize for the size glasses you have, to get the look you want.

Combo coaster, glass cozy / koozie helps insulate and make ice last a bit longer, and soaks up that condensation!

Cotton suggested (but not mandatory) for absorbency. The Coaster - Cozy - Koozie fits snugly and will not slip off. In fact, as condensation occurs it gets even better, gripping the glass.

No one has to fumble or keep up with coasters when they visit, or wipe up blobs of water from sweating glasses. Make different colors so guests can keep up with their own drinks.

Because I can be a klutz at times I added a “stabilizer” at the bottom. Great for kids beginning to use “grown up” glasses!

Make tall or short, although I wouldn’t make them less than half-height of the glass so they’ll stick to the glass well.

The pattern provided is a combination of the griddle stitch and a variation of it. It was chosen because it’s quick, easy, stretches, is solid enough to insulate, and has visual interest/texture.

Don’t let the detailed instructions fool you – they just include a lot of notes, tips and variation ideas to carry you along, and when you are through, you’ll be able to breeze through making more with your own custom pattern, and create new patterns using different stitches.
