A HEAD FOR FASHION is a 6-pattern collection for sale as both a mini e-book and as individual patterns. Each project is inspired by a famous female fashion designer who was active during the Roaring Twenties.

You can purchase the HEAD FOR FASHION e-book mini-collection OR the individual patterns on both Ravelry and on my website: http://www.julieturjoman.com.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel was a groundbreaking fashion designer whose reputation as an arbiter of chic was cemented during the 1920s and ‘30s. She created the classic fragrance Chanel No. 5 as well as the original “little black dress.” Naturally, she designed and wore the iconic hat of the Jazz Age – the cloche. This example, with its narrow, down-turned brim worn low over the forehead, a textured and embellished band, and a sophisticated color combination of charcoal, orchid, and lilac, is inspired by the legend herself.
