A HEAD FOR FASHION is a 6-pattern collection for sale as both a mini e-book and as individual patterns. Each project is inspired by a famous female fashion designer who was active during the Roaring Twenties.

Starting Nov. 1, 2014 you can purchase the HEAD FOR FASHION e-book mini-collection OR the individual patterns on both Ravelry and on my website: http://www.julieturjoman.com.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel was a groundbreaking fashion designer whose reputation as an arbiter of chic was cemented during the 1920s and ‘30s. She created the classic fragrance Chanel No. 5 as well as the original “little black dress.” These cozy yet stylish fingerless mitts feature a slip stitch texture up the back of each hand as well as charming rose and leaf appliqués at the wrist. The sporty texture of the contrast color wristbands is balanced by elegant mother-of-pearl buttons, in homage to the high-low mix that was her trademark.
