This hat is knit to fit as you go; a gauge swatch is not necessary. The instructions include taking your measurements and referring to a schematic diagram of a head.

Requires two ornamental buttons.

Pattern has 5 suggested colorways. Each colorway requires 7 skeins of Spindrift. Three strands of yarn are held together to knit the hat.

Hat is started at the crown and knit down to the top of the ears in the round, then back and forth to finish the brim.

This is a pattern leaflet and is not included in a book or magazine.

Any fingering weight yarn can be used. Three strands are held to create a bulky yarn. Color changes are initiated by dropping one color strand and adding another.
