Adult sized close fitting cabled hat knit from the top down where increases are done in pattern.

The cap can be sized up or down by knitting in a different gauge, or by adding/subtracting filler stitches in between cables.

The pattern includes both row by row instructions and a chart for the cables.

Enjoy!

Some notes for clarification. Once you have 30 sitiches on the needles - which are the 1st six for each pattern repeat, you can begin the first cable. New stitches are added added in pattern, which means you should purl the stitches as shown in the chart. As you get enough stitches for the right twist cables, you would work them in as you go.
