This scarf design is inspired by the features of the TARDIS console room. The two-colour slip-stitch honeycomb pattern on the body of the scarf echoes the hexagons on the walls and the lace edging suggests the arching columns surrounding the console. A roll hem edging represents the railings guarding the edge of the console platform.

The main pattern is written for 4 ply yarn. Options are also given for a DK weight scarf and a skinny scarf version in 4ply. The pattern also gives an option for a standard garter stitch edging to substitute for the rolled edge if preferred.

Length and gauge can be varied as desired.
