Inspired by Monet’s paintings of the Rouen Cathedral, Contrefort reflects some of the grand architectural elements seen in the European cathedrals.

Experience Level: Advanced Beginner.

Size: Women’s small (medium, large) – approximately 7 (8, 9)” leg circumference. Sample sock shown in medium.

Instruction clarification:
At the bottom of page 4, the instructions read: “You will need to rearrange stitches on the needles as you work.” This means that you need to knit one stitch from needle 1 onto needle 3 at the end of round 2, 4, 6, and 8 to shift the beginning of the round and keep the pattern aligned.

Sorry for any confusion!
