This long-sleeved pullover is sure to please your little girl. Perfect for her back-to-school wardrobe! It is knit from the top-down and includes a raglan yoke and a waistband - creating a smooth transition from the yoke to the body. The button bands are picked up after the body of the sweater has been completed. The center front features a pleat just below the waistband, adding just a touch of frill.

Sizes available:
Girl’s size 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 8, 10, 12)

Pattern Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
1) Please be able to read abbreviated knitting instructions.
2) You will have to know how to knit and purl, increase and decrease, cast on and bind off.
3) You will also need to know how to pick up stitches from the finished vertical edge to work the button band ribbing.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 24 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch on US size 7 (4.5 mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.

Stitches used: Stockinette Stitch, 2x2 ribbing.

Materials:
Yarn - I used Spud and Chloe Sweater, which is a Cotton/Wool blend. I would recommend the following amounts for each of the sizes, though I am not yet sure if this amount is correct or not:
3 (3, 3, 4, 4)(4, 4, 4, 5) skeins; 160 yards per skein.

Buttons - as many as you need - about 5/8”
